WHAT IS safe senior systems?
It consists of four parts:
a) The comfortable recliner armchair with headrests has a MACERATOR toilet inside under the seat. When placed for the convenience of the client it is connected to the main plumbing with the two 1 inch pipes ”just like a boat". The manufacturers have been in business for many years & claim it "can be installed anywhere". It has an electric plug for the pump to reduce the content to a fine slurry which can be easily disposed via the small waste pipe into a range of plumbing fixtures.
Adjustable foot rest has been suggested. |

b) A strong table which fits into grooves on the chair arms and can be locked on or swung aside for transfers. It has some small storage for ADL (Activities of Daily Living) and a variety of remotes. It provides regular supported standing from the start of the illness & prevents loss of muscle tone

c) Roll away storage for heavy equipment especially for Patients who have to be alone all day i.e.: 4 litre fridge, microwave, TV, computer, sewing machine. Various remotes according to need, may include: complex remotes such as TV to view patient or respiration monitor |

d) A firm plastic Shower Shell Insert which allows minimal washing with a hand held shower & drains the water down the toilet
